Janet K. Bodey

Janet K. Bodey of Troy, Ohio departed this life on May 30, 2021, at the age of 88.  She was preceded in life by her parents, Orville and Pauline Kinsinger, her husband Wallace Bodey and granddaughter Lauren Bodey.  She was born in Troy, Ohio and was a 1951 graduate of Troy High School.  She spent her retirement years in Zephyrhills, Florida, living the last 3 years at Randall Residence in Tipp City, Ohio.

She is survived by three sons and their spouses: Ronald and Brenda, Steven and Brian, Tracy and Colleen; six grandchildren: Peter, Michael, Heather, Kristopher, Bonnie, and Joshua; and fourteen great grandchildren.

Janet was employed at Aero Products, B.F. Goodrich, Hallmark, Western Ohio National Bank, Miami County Credit Bureau, and Elder Beerman.  She also enjoyed selling Fashion Two Twenty, Mary Kay Cosmetics, and Tupperware.  She was a member of the Moose Lodge #2276 in Zephyrhills, Florida and attended Forest Lake Estates Christian Fellowship in Zephyrhills.  She loved going to car shows with her husband, collecting dolls, teacups, and figurines.  She enjoyed playing cards with family and friends and working on puzzles.

It was truly a blessing to know at the end of her life she was met by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Her love and concern for her family and friends will be missed by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Baird Funeral Home on Saturday, June 5, 2021 from 3-5PM.  Interment will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Florida.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice of Miami County, PO Box 502, Troy, OH 45373 or Forest Lake Estates Fellowship, 37622 Granada Avenue, Dade City, Florida 33525.
