Imogene “Jean” Blair, age 93, of Troy, OH passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023. She was born on March 30, 1930 in Oil Springs, KY to the late Henry C. and Maude (Turner) Bolin.
She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: Dan and Vivian Blair of Troy and Lynn and Joan Blair of Springfield; daughter and son-in-law: Terry and Justin Looper of Monterey, TN; siblings: Pauline Conley of Alcony; Shirley Wells of Troy; and Jan Porter of Columbus; six grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Rev. James Andrew Blair on June 25, 2004 and brother: Herman Bolin.
Jean was formerly employed as a teacher in Kentucky and formerly with Dinner Bell Foods in Troy. She was a former member of the Williams Road Freewill Baptist Church in Columbus and a longtime member of the Troy Freewill Baptist where her husband was founder and pastor of the church. She also attended the Northridge Freewill Baptist Church.
Jean enjoyed gardening and cooking for everyone. She loved her family and being involved with the church.
Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, May 1, 2023 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. Tim Hamilton and Rev. Dwight Stump officiating. Interment will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 30, 2023 from 2:00 PM-5:00 PM and 11:00 AM–12:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
