Gale E. Strawser

Gale E. Strawser, Age 70, of Troy, OH passed away on September 28, 2022 at Momentous Health at Vandalia. He was born on February 4, 1952 in Van Wert, OH to the late David Strawser and Mildred Irene (Rohlf) Schmidt.

Gale is survived by four children: Charles Strawser of Tipp City, Christopher (Kenda Addis) Strawser of Versailles, Angela (Jeffrey) Fox of Troy and Amy Jo Strawser Furlong of Troy; sister: Alice Odaffer of Van Wert; brother: Gerald Strawser of Van Wert and eight grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four sisters: Frances “Pat” Gates, Sandra Altenburger, Cheryl Clark and Ruby Hollingsworth.

Gale was a US Army Veteran and went to Northwestern College.  He was an honest man, kind soul, skilled mechanic and avid Cleveland Browns fan.

A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 PM on October 9, 2022 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 to 3:00 PM.   Private interment will take place at Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of Baird Funeral Home.
