Dorothy Mae (Ross) Supinger

DOROTHY MAE SUPINGER, age 79, of Troy, passed away on Friday August 23, 2019 at her daughter’s residence in Pleasant Hill.  She was born on August 8, 1940 in Troy to the late Glenn and Hallie (Foutz) Ross.

Dorothy is survived by her children: Doug E. (Lisa) Supinger of Troy, , David Glenn (Joy) Ross of Troy, Karen Supinger of Pleasant Hill, Paula N. (Keith) Huffman of Troy, Roscoe E. (Adeth) Supinger, Jr. of Germany and Rebecca N. (Chris) DiNardo of Casstown; siblings: Jim Lucas of Sidney, Carol Eubank and Tom Ross, both of Piqua; twenty six grandchildren and twenty seven great grandchildren, whom she affectionally referred to as “That’s my girl or that’s my boy”.  In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe E. Supinger, who died on July 2, 1998; one son: David Allan (Tania) Supinger of Troy; and siblings: Chester Lucas, Paul Ross and Glenna Noble.

Dorothy was a member of Troy View Church of God.  She retired from Troy City Schools as a custodian. 

Funeral Service will be held at 12:30 PM on Tuesday, August 27, 2019 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy with Pastor Dan Cain officiating.  Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  Friends may call from 5:00 – 8:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.
