Donna Sue (Tedrow) McDaniel

DONNA SUE (TEDROW) MCDANIEL, age 81, of Troy, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit in Troy.  She was born on February 3, 1939 to the late Harley and Margaret Elizabeth (Rutledge) Tedrow.  On October 22, 1955, she married Paul L. McDaniel and he preceded her in death on October 24, 1984.

Donna is survived by one daughter: Debra (Spencer) Smallenbarger of Casstown; siblings: twin brothers, Larry Tedrow and Gary (Phyllis) Tedrow of Loogootee, IN and Cathy Johnson of Huntingsburg, IN; grandchildren: Jessica (David Burgess) Smallenbarger and Matthew (Amy) Smallenbarger; great grandchildren: Abigail and Parker Smallenbarger; and special nieces: Terri, Shelly, and Tammy of Indiana and Tina McDaniel Wagner of Troy.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter: Vickie Moseley; two brothers: Roger Tedrow and Richard Tedrow; two sisters: Judy Gammon and Marsha Kay Waggoner; grandparents: Enoch and Dora Tedrow and William and Amanda Rutledge.

Donna was previously a night supervisor and waitress at K’s Restaurant in Troy.  She was a member of the Troy Baptist Temple. Donna attended Shoals Indiana schools.  She had a love for flowers of any kind. She enjoyed vacations with her family at the beach and loved the sound of the ocean.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren as they were very special to her.

Private services will be held by the Rev. Matt Harbour of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Troy.
