David L. Harshbarger

David L. Harshbarger, age 70, of Greenville, OH passed away on January 16, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on October 24, 1950 in Troy, OH to the late David E. and Herma L. (Selvage) Harshbarger.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years: Diana L. (Battles) Harshbarger; children: Lori (Ben) Harshman of Piqua; Todd Harshbarger of Greenville and Brad (Kelly) Harshbarger of Greenville; brother and sisters: Mike (Paula) Harshbarger of Gettysburg; Brenda (Tim) Davis of Troy; Ruth Warner of Piqua and Shirley (Brian) Harshman of Troy; four grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by son: Alan Harshbarger; daughter-in-law: Jodi Harshbarger; twin grandchildren: Noah Lee and Leann Rose; sister: Nannie Baker; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Harold and Imojene (McPheron) Battles and sister-in-law:  Sharron (Battles) Goonan.

David attended Miami East and Troy City Schools.  He was employed with Piqua Champion Foundry for 22 years.  He was a lifetime member of the NRA and was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying fishing, hunting and camping.  He especially enjoyed being around his loved ones.
