Cynthia Kay McCoy

Cynthia Kay McCoy, age 70, of Troy, OH passed away August 13, 2023 at Upper Valley Medical Center with her son, Jeremy Ray McCoy gently holding her right arm and hand, his promise to be with her when its that time.  He hardly left her side while she was in the hospitals.

Cynthia was born July 26, 1953 to her parents, Paul and Delores Russell, in heaven hugging their daughter with much love.

Jeremy continuing with mothers instructions to carry on holding his promise never lose faith in God, get a house and be a preacher.  Continuing as her good son!

Cynthia graduated from Miami East with high honors in DECA Entrepreneurship.  A member of Troy View Church of God baptized along side her mother, saved and gave to charities: Boys Town, St. Jude Childrens and Disabled American Veterans.

She enjoyed gardening, crocheting, cooking, arts and crafts.  Cynthia retired from Dairy Queen in Piqua well known as “The Cake Lady”. 

Private Services will be held at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.

Cynthia will be going home with her good son to continue being together as always in life.
