Cynthia A. “Cindi” Maggert, age 74, of Fletcher, OH passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 24, 2023 at her residence. She was born on October 1, 1949 in Dayton, OH to the late Lester and Lucille (Sanford) Riggs.
She is survived by her husband: Lynn Maggert, Sr.; children: Thomas (Melissa) Stamper, Shanah Callahan, Jessica (George) Keyes, Stacie Meyers, Lynn (Kristi) Maggert, Jr., David (Stephanie) Maggert, Sr., and Darrell (Julie) Maggert; siblings: Laura Marie Smith of Xenia, Renee (Bruce) Sweitzer of Huber Heights, and Michael L. (Rebecca) Riggs of Covington, LA; grandchildren: Samantha (Kieran) Fetter, Stephanie Bux, Alex and Aaron Callahan, Kandace (Christian) Bux, Haleigh (Seth) Smith, David Maggert, Jr., Zachary and Brandon Orsi, Tucker and Koen Hazeltine, William (Klarissa) Printup, Ashley Printup, Brittany (Kevin) Bates, Blake (Sachi) Bromley, and Drew (Hannah) Bromley; many great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Cindi enjoyed a successful career in radio and television in Arkansas, Texas and Ohio. Her first love though, was spreading the Good News about Redemption in Jesus Christ. She taught Sunday School, Healing and forgiveness for post abortive women, Ladies’ Bible Studies and led praises and worship at several churches in the area.
She has been a partner and servant to True Life Community Church since 2015 where she continued to serve in Ladies Ministry and as a Life Group Leader.
There will be a Celebration of Life and Salvation she found in Jesus Christ at True Life Community Church on Foss Way in Troy at 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 with visitation with the family beforehand from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM with Pastor Chris Daum and Pastor Ken Henderson leading.
