Cynthia Sue Marr

Cynthia Sue Marr, age 62, of Troy, OH passed away on January 19, 2023 at Troy Care Center.  She was born on May 3, 1960 in Troy, OH to the late Douglas C. Marr and Phyllis E. (Burnside) Marr Meek.

Cindy is survived by her brother: Scott J. (Susan Holobaugh) Marr of Piqua, OH; Uncle: Jim Marr of Piqua; Aunt: Sharon Tait of Mission Vejo,  CA; Cousins: Donna Gheen Rue of Troy, Julie Graves of Piqua, Trevor Raham of Pasadena, CA, John Tait of CA and Heather Wallace of San Clemente, CA and all her family at Troy Care Center. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by infant brother: Randall Douglas Marr.

Cindy was a 1978 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a former figure skater with Troy Skating Club and also skated in the National Ice Capades.  Cindy was a people person and genuinely loved people.  She also enjoyed bingo and painting.

The family would like to express a special thank you to Stacy and Kami with Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County for their care.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date led by Hospice Chaplain Teresa McClennon.
