Charlotte G. Stager

Charlotte G. Stager, age 81, of Troy, OH passed away on November 22, 2021 at Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Unit. She was born on January 5, 1940 in West Virginia to the late Woodrow and Ruby (Weatherholt) Wears.

Charlotte is survived by her children: Randy L. Stager of Troy; Scott D. (Beth) Stager of Ft. Loramie; Barbara (Barry) Coomes of Troy and Kirk (Miles) Stager of Vandalia; nine grandchildren: Christopher Stager, Matthew (Breanne) Stager; Shane Stager; Kyle Stager; Trevor (Katelyn) Coomes; Bradley (Jenna) Coomes; Rachel Stager; Luke Stager and Cameron Coomes and great grandchildren: Bailey Stager; Addison Coomes and Jaxton Stager. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years: Douglas Lee Stager on August 17, 2017; and sister: Ava Ellis.

Throughout her life she was devoted to caring for and spending time with her family. She had a strong sense of faith and connection to God. She especially enjoyed her summers on the farm spending time in the garden and sharing the bounty with family and friends. Services will be held at 11:00AM on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will follow in the Casstown Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 9:00-11:00AM on Friday.
