Obituary

Bruce Alan Smith, 58, of Troy, OH passed away on June 8, 2022.  He was born on February 4, 1964 in Detroit, MI.   

Bruce is survived by his mother: Sandra (Smith) Jones; and friend: Dennis Ford.  Bruce was preceded in death by his step-father: Ward Jones, Jr.; uncles: Larry Smith and Jack Smith; grandma: Vulah Smith.

He served his country in the U.S. Army.  He loved sports and announced for Frosty Brown at Duke Park and S. Market Street baseball fields. 

A service will be held at Baird Funeral Home in Troy at 6:00 PM, Monday, June 13, 2022.  Family will receive friends from 4:00 to 6:00 PM on Monday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Frosty Brown Baseball Program at 703 W. Market Street, Troy, Ohio.  Friends may express condolences to the family through www.bairdfuneralhome.com.
