Barbara Irene Boyd

Barbara Irene Boyd, age 75, of Troy, formerly of Piqua, OH, passed away on Saturday, May 6, 2023, at Troy Care and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on September 16, 1947, in Covington, KY, to the late George Robert Kendall Sr. and Leona Jeanette (McColgan) Kendall.

Barbara is survived by two daughters: Sara Marissa Patel and Davina Baker; her son-in-law, and many grandchildren ranging in age from infant to young adult. The status of her son, Ernest Boyd, is unknown.

Barbara lived in Connecticut for several years, but spent the majority of her life in Ohio. As an avid lover of animals, she enjoyed caring for her parakeet and beloved cat, Kelly. She had a great fondness for crochet, cake decorating, watching soap operas, and maintained her devotion to God.

A scattering of ashes will take place in July, 2023.
