Ann Becker Lauzau of Troy Ohio, born on November 1, 1959 in St Marys, Ohio, to William and Thelma (Hoelscher) Becker passed unexpectedly on Thursday, September 23, 2021. She married Paul Lauzau on December 15, 1984; he survives her. She is also survived by her daughter Marie Collette (Alex Bell) Lauzau of Naples, Florida; a son Max (Kayley) Lauzau of Kettering, Ohio; her mother of Botkins, Ohio; a brother, Mark (Laura) Becker of Minster, Ohio; a sister, Jill (Tom) Finkenbine of Maplewood Ohio; a father-in-law, Wilbur Lauzau of Fostoria, Ohio; a brother-in-law, Richard Lauzau (Dante Parete) of Cleveland, Ohio; a brother-in-law Dave (Kim) Lauzau of Pickerington, Ohio and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father Bill Becker, her sister Carol Jean Becker and her mother-in-law Patricia Ann Lauzau.
Ann was a graduate of Botkins High School and held a B.S. from Miami University. Ann loved to sail and was an active member of the North Cape Yacht Club out of La Salle, Michigan. Many weekends she could be found with her husband on their boat, but no matter where she was she always had time for her friends and family. She was active in the Alpha Garden Club where she fostered her love of flowers, gardening, and flower arranging. She had a passion for large, beautiful, leafy hostas. Ann worked for Synchrony Financial where she was a fraud analyst; in this capacity she connected with people all over the world. She was a beacon of love and joy to her family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 29 at Baird Funeral Home in Troy, OH from 4 - 8 pm. A ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 30 at 11:00 am at Trinity Episcopal Church, 60 South Dorset, Troy.
