Xander Declan Fraley went home to be with Jesus on June 6, 2018.  He was 6 years old. Born August 6, 2011, he was the precious son of Guy and Amy Fraley, and the 5th of their 8 children.

Xander had been a shaken baby, with a skull fracture, brain bleed, and numerous broken bones.  He joined the Fraley family when he was only 4 months of age.  Although his prognosis seemed grim at that time, God was at work bringing healing to his broken body and heart.  He grew to be a sweet, loving, joy-filled little boy, whose constant smile lit the darkest of places. He faced many challenges in his much too short life, but he touched the lives and hearts of everyone he met.  He will be greatly missed.

Xander is survived by his parents, Guy Fraley and Amy (Beres) Fraley; his siblings, Laura Beth, Jason, Austin, James, Rachel, Arianna, and Karlee.  He is also survived by his paternal grandparents, Guy and Char Fraley and his maternal grandparents, Larry and Linda Beres, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved him dearly.

A celebration of Xander's life will be held on June 12, 2018 at First Light Church of Vandalia (formerly First Baptist Church of Vandalia) on Elva Court.  Calling hours will be held from 5:30pm to 7:30pm with a short service to follow at 7:30.
