Wyrtus L. Medlock Christopher, 77, of Troy, Ohio went to be with her Lord on Monday, May 01, 2006 after a brief illness. She was born on December 30, 1928 in Bedford, Indiana to the late Walter and Lena Bennett Medlock. She married Newell H. Christopher Sr., and he precedes her in death, April 2, 2001. She is survived by three children, sons & daughter-in-law; Newell Christopher Jr. of Troy, OH; Joe & Pam Klatte of Troy, OH; daughter 7 son-in-law; Laura Lou & Brad Bemus of Troy, OH; seven grandchildren, J.C. Klatte; Kevin Klatte; Jordan Christopher; Olivia Grace; Benjamin Bemus; Andrew Bemus and Elizabeth Bemus. She is preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio. She was in advertising sales for the Troy Daily News and Business Partner for Christopher & Associates. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 5, 2006 @ 10:00AM at the First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio with the Rev. Dr. James C. Wilson II officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, May 4, 2006 from 4-7PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to First Place Christian Center, in care of First United Methodist Church, Troy, Ohio.
