Wilmadene Fox, age 82, of Troy, OH died Wednesday, July 2, 2008 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH. She was born October 30, 1925 in Dayton, OH to the late Charles Holmes and Florence Elvey Holmes. She was married to Glenn Dale Fox on July 4, 1944 who survives her. She is also survived by sons, Steven Lee Fox of Atlanta, GA and Gary A. Fox of Rosamond, CA; daughter, Carol Diane Barr of Boulder, CO; and brother, Darrell Holmes of Dayton, OH. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Delbert Holmes. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star Chapter No. 256; Emeritus Member of Troy Altrusa Club and served as Club President from 1971-1973 and managed and delivered food for Altrusa Mobile Meals for over 30 years. She was a former telephone operator w/ Aero Products and former owner/operator of Wash & Dry Laundromat located on S. Market St. in Troy. Services will be held 2:00PM Monday, July 7, 2008 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH with interment in the Poplar Hill Cemetery, Vandalia, OH.
