Obituary

Wilma E. Hartley, age 90, of Englewood, passed away on November 22, 2021 at the Grace Brethren Village in Englewood.  She was born in Troy on April 6, 1931 to the late Russell M. and Jessie J. (Brown) Hartley.

Wilma is survived by sisters: Patricia (Bob) Wise of Troy and Beverly Denlinger of Brookville and brother: Douglas (Judy) Hartley of Troy and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents, Wilma was preceded in death by sisters: Doris "Dee" Victor and Lora Lee Whitaker and brother: Ronald Hartley .

She was a member of the First Grace Brethren Church in Vandalia where she taught Children's church and participated in the Good News Club and the Women of Grace.  Wilma served as a teacher with Milton Union Schools for 40 years. She enjoyed traveling and loved flowers.

Services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Baird Funeral Home with Chaplain Phil Buxton officiating.  Interment will follow in Wheelock Cemetery in Nashville.  The family will receive friends from 10-11AM prior to the service.
