Willis M. Boyer, age 79, of Troy, OH went to be with the Lord on July 14, 2020 at Koester Pavilion, Troy, OH.  He was born on February 11, 1941 in Tipp City, OH to the late William and Ivy (Berry) Boyer.

He is survived by his wife of 59 years: Elaine (Thompson) Boyer; daughter: Janelle (Mike) Mattie; son: Craig (Becky) Boyer; brother: August (Bud) Boyer; sister: Betty Trostel; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren; two step-grandchildren and eight step-greatgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brothers: Nelson Boyer Sr.; Leroy Boyer; Lyman Boyer and William Boyer Jr. and sisters: Mary Adams; Mae Slack; Mabel Jackson; Dorothy Beard; Marjorie Curtis and Minnie Helman.

He graduated from the Tipp City Schools in 1959.  He retired from General Motors Company after 35 years of service.  He was an avid sportsman and fisherman.

Graveside services will be Friday, July 24, 2020 at 11AM at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, OH.  OSU apparel welcomed.  Face masks recommended.  Memorial contributions may be made to the First United Church of Christ, 120 South Market Street, Troy, OH 45373.
