William C. Wright William C. Wright, age 83, of Troy, Ohio, passed away at 10:17PM on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Upper Valley Medical Center, ER, Troy, Ohio. He was born on December 7, 1927 in Troy, to the late Calvin and Lola Yohey Wright. His wife, Lois Wray Wright, preceded him in death on July 1, 2006. Survivors include three sons and a daughter-in-law: Jeffrey and Deborah Wright of Tipp City, Ohio, Gregory Scott Wright of New Carlisle, Ohio and Christopher Wright of New Carlisle, Ohio; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and his wife, Mr. Wright was preceded in death by one son, Stephen Wright; daughter, Karla Sue Bowers; brother, James Wright; sister, Marlene Zeller; and one grandson, Linden Scott Wright. He was a Seaman in the US Navy during WWII from 1945-1946. He was a member of the Mt. Olivet #226 F&AM, Shriner and Scottish Rite. He was also a lifetime member of Troy Fish & Game Club and AmVets #88 and a lifelong resident of Troy. Mr. Wright retired from GM after 30 years of service. Services will be held at 12noon on Monday, May 2, 2011 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Rev. Pam Linderson officiating. Interment will follow in New Carlisle Cemetery, New Carlisle, Ohio.
