William D. ''Bill'' Strobel, 65, died at his residence in Troy, Ohio on Sunday, December 7, 2003. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Connie Ernst Strobel. He is also survived by daughters and sons-in-law: Cindy and Morgan Lamb of Ft. Bragg, NC, Sandi and Jon Eady of Savannah, GA and Angie Strobel of Atlanta, GA; a son, Randy Strobel of Tipp City, Ohio, six grandchildren; one nephew and wife, Jim and Sue Christian of Verailles and special friends, Tom Peppiot, Larry Eichhorn and Jack Gheen. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Naomi Kreider Strobel and one sister, Betty Christian. Mr. Strobel was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy; a US Marine Corp Veteran and was a member of the American Legion of Ft. Loramie. He was a graduate of Versailles High School. Mr. Strobel was currently an area farmer; he was retired from the Troy Gravel Company. Visitation will be from 3-8 PM Thursday, December 11 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with a service at 10:00AM Friday, December 12 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy.
