William Everett Shuman, 60, died at his residence on Tuesday, March 5, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Linda Kerrigan Shuman, son, Todd Everett Shuman; daughter and son-in-law, Tia Janinne and Jason Maurer; Uncle, Ronald Mendenhall; Aunt, Mrs. Max Jauneita Hay; 5 nephews, 3 nieces, 2 great nephews and 1 great niece; three brothers, Lawrence Franklin Shuman, Ira Anthony Shuman and Arthur Dewain Shuman. Mr. Shuman was preceded in death by his parents, George and Virginia Mendenhall Shuman and a brother, Paul David Shuman. Mr. Shuman was a US Army Veteran. He was a charter member of Corvette-Troy; Member of Christian Life Center, Dayton; American Society of Plumbing Engineers;Graduate of Troy High School, first graduating class at its current location. He was a 20 year plumbing designer for Helmig, Lienesch and Associates Consulting Engineers. Certified CIPD. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Friday, March 8 at Baird Funeral -Troy; service will be at 10:30AM Saturday, March 9 at Baird Funeral Home. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery with graveside Military Honors. Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County or Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
