William H. Bill Mott William H. Bill Mott, age 88, born May 22, 1921 in Casstown, Ohio, to Harley J. and Alta Baker Mott, passed away on July 15, 2009 in Troy, Ohio. He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, June C. Riley Mott, sister, Marjorie Lauren Widener, daughter, Joy Saunders and grandson, Montgomery A. Mott. He is survived by his second wife of 44 years, Marjorie L. Kessler Mott; his children: sons, Randy Lynda Mott, John Pam Mott; daughters, Rhonda Dennis Holthaus, Stacy Mott, Shirley Davis, Pat Bill Barry; grandchildren: Meredith Scott Haynes, Tyler Mott, Cathy Steve Andry, Karen Paul Monaghan, Richard Doughman, David Doughman, Christopher Davis, Connie Davis, Judy Buchanan, Dottie Saunders, Todd Saunders and Tami Saunders; nephew, Dale Widener; nieces, Janice Bill Frank and Charlotte Mike Kemp and 16 great-grandchildren. Bill attended Elizabeth Township School, graduating class of 1939, served in the Army Air Corps during WWII from 1942-1944. He was a former Casstown City Council member, former member of Casstown United Methodist Church and current member of Troy First United Methodist Church. He had been employed at the former Montross Lumber Company and retired from Troy Lumber Company. His favorite loves were his family, dancing with Marge to big band sounds, the Cincinnati Reds and the Ohio State Buckeyes. Funeral services will take place at 10:00AM on Monday, July 20, 2009 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with burial in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
