William F. McNamee, age 89, formerly of Troy; more recently of Versailles, OH passed away on Friday, April 17, 2015 at the Versailles Health Care Center. Bill was born on April 3, 1926 in New York, NY to the late William F. and Anna (Johnson) McNamee. Bill married Vivian M. Goubeaux on May 22, 1954 and she preceded him in death on December 21, 2003. Bill is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law: Deborah and Mark Didier of Bradford; Suzanne and Kent Roush of Miamisburg; Kathleen and Michael Howe of Kettering; sons: Michael and Becky McNamee of Crittenden, KY; Christopher and Lynn McNamee of Lakewood Ranch,FL; and Patrick and Margo McNamee of McCordsville, IN; sister: Agnes Hansen of Yorba Linda, CA; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. Bill served in the US Marine Corps and he recently participated in the Honor Flight Program. He was a member of the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, audio books and playing cards. Bill was retired from AO Smith Company after 30-plus years of service. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 1:00PM on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy with the Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Interment will follow in St. John's Cemetery in Tipp City, OH. The family will receive friends from 10:00AM – 12:00PM on Monday, April 27, 2015 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.
