Bill is survived by his wife of 34 years: Kathy (Kingham) McIntosh; brothers: Nick (Valery) McIntosh of Shelbyville, KY., Mike (Jane) Brown and David Brown of Columbus, IN.; sisters: Debbie (Tony) Eden of Greensburg, IN., Angie (Ken) Dilkes of Greensburg, IN. and Becky Sherer of Fishers, IN.; brother-in-law: Casey (Debbie) Kingham of Troy and sister-in-law: Amy Kingham of Troy; nieces and nephews: Zach McIntosh (Cheyanne Sharp) of Bradenton, FL., Amy (Greg) Kinker of Greensburg, IN., Michelle Brown of Columbus, IN., Heather (Darrin) Gaines of Greensburg, IN., Robin (Nick) Allen of Greensburg, IN., Jeff K. (Kesha) Brown of Tucson, AZ., Will (Devon) Sherer of New York, NY. and Jason Kingham of Lakeland, FL.; adored by numerous great nieces and nephews.

Bill was a 1981 graduate of Shelby County High School and Morehead State University where he received his Bachelor of Music. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Troy, former member of the Ohio Valley British Brass Band, Lexington Singers in Lexington, KY. and cast member of The Stephen Foster Story in Bardstown, KY. Bill was a radio announcer/program director at many radio stations including: WMKY-Morehead, KY., WPTW-Piqua, WMVR-Sidney and WTJN/Troy Community Radio. He was Co-Conductor of the Troy Civic Band and a road representative/salesman for Hauer Music.

Bill was kind, caring and loving to everyone he met.   He knew how to make people feel special and genuinely enjoyed hearing about their families and their lives.  He loved music and frequently performed with his beautiful singing voice and trumpet talents in churches, choirs and bands throughout his life.  Although, he and his wife had no children, he dearly loved them and never missed an opportunity to hold a baby.  He was the consummate storyteller, impressionist and entertainer at every family function, group of friends and even to the many radio audiences that he had.  People often speak of his ability to be funny and looked forward to his boisterous laughs.  Bill was a very loving person and his absence has created a large hole in everyone's hearts.  He will be greatly missed.

The family would like to thank EVERYONE at UVMC who helped Bill through the years.  He loved all of you like a second family.   You treated him with honor, dignity, respect and love.

Funeral Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, at the First Presbyterian Church in Troy, with music prelude by The Ohio Valley British Brass Band beginning at 4:30PM.  Burial will follow in Casstown Cemetery.  Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
