William M. Kaufhold William M. Kaufhold, age 70, of Troy, Ohio, died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at his residence. He was born on February 24, 1942 in Newark, New Jersey. He is survived by his two sons, William J. Kaufhold of Morehead, Kentucky and Christopher P. Kaufhold of Piqua, Ohio; sister, Marjorie Kunz of New Jersey; stepsisters, Clara Kaufhold and Petey Kaufhold both of New Jersey; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Julia Woodbridge Kaufhold; father and stepmother, Richard and Ruth Kaufhold; brother, Harry Kaufhold; and sister, Julie Wiggins. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force having served as a B52 Mechanic. He was a member of the Troy Eagles and the American Legion Post No. 43 of Troy, Ohio. William worked for the US Government at the Pentagon for a number of years, then went on to work at AT&T for more than 25 years before retiring in 1990. Following his retirement, William worked at O.S.I. in Troy. A memorial service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with VFW Memorial Honor Guard.
