William D. Garrett, age 86 of Troy, Ohio left to join us his wife on Monday, October 25, 2004 after passing away Monday morning at Mt. Carmel-St. Annes Hospital, Columbus. Preceded in death by his parents, Orba D. and Blanche Smith Garrett; wife, Wilma Jean Mowery; brothers, Fred and Don and one infant sibling. He is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Edward and Kathleen Garrett; Christopher Garrett and Daughter, Robin Garrett; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Isabelle and Eugene Carter and brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Jo Garrett; grandsons and spouses, Eddie and Kristin; Noah and Amy and Chase and Blake and great-grandchildren, Zachary; Nicholas and Rebecca. A veteran of the US Air Force, he was retired from Cooper Energy after 38 years of service. He enjoyed working in his yard; watching baseball and the love of his faithful companion, Sparky.
