William E. Francis, 64, died at his residence Thursday, June 6, 2002 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Chloda I. Welker Francis, three children, Jone Worth, Randall Allen Francis and Scott Ray wife Gina Francis; five brothers, Hartley Francis, Adrian Francis, John Francis, Leonard Francis; three sisters, Fredia May Trucksis, Mary June Oaks and Addie Henry; 2 grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Mr. Francis was preceded in death by his parents, Marian and Myrtle Ford Francis; brother, Marian Francis, Jr. and sister, Betty Mumford. He was a 1955 graduate of Miami Central High School. Mr. Francis retired in 1992 as a shipping and receiving clerk at Durion FlowServe after 27 years of service. He had a home hobby lawnmower repair for many years. Visitation will be from 10 - 11:00am on Friday, June 14, 2002 with a memorial service at 11:00 AM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's Miracle Network; Make a Wish Foundation; Hospice of Miami County, or Cancer Research.
