William Jan Czajka, age 75, formerly of Troy and more recently of Houston, OH, passed away on August 20, 2024 at Hospice of Miami County.  He was born on July 29, 1949 in Mansfield, OH to the late Benjamin and Margaret (Karbonic) Czajka.

Bill is survived by his wife of 50 years of marriage: Sandra (Heasley) Czajka; three children: Benjamin Earl (Christine) Czajka of Springboro, Kathryn Czajka of Louisville, CO and Lauren (Grant Garstka) Czajka of Denver, CO and his six grandchildren: Adrienne, Joseph, Luke, Carmen, Fern and Simon.

Bill and his wife Sandy met in college at Ohio Wesleyan University and then he later graduated from the University of Cincinnati School of Medicine.  He practiced locally for many years with his colleagues at Cardiology Care and later with Premier Health.

Bill was looking forward to many years of retirement enjoying the birds and nature in their family's own little sanctuary.  Most of all, he loved his role as a great husband, father and "B" to his grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1:30-3:30PM on Sunday, September 15, 2024 with a Time of Sharing to follow at 3:30PM at Baird Funeral Home, 555 North Market Street, Troy, OH.
