William Bill Burton, 74, of Scott St. in Troy, Oh. joined our Father in heaven Saturday, July 20, 2002 at his residence. He was born September 12, 1927 in Greenup Co., KY. to the late James and Molly Daniels Burton. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Pauline Osborne Burton. He was a retiree of A.O. Smith in Tipp City, OH. where he provided 37 years of dedicated service. Other survivors include three daughters and their spouses, Bonnie and Bill Niswonger, Katherine Burton-Robertson, and Patricia and Mark Kingrey, all of Troy, OH.; one son and his wife, Roger and Sherry Burton of Lucasville, OH.; two brothers, twin George Burton of Milford Center, OH. and Ernest Burton of Greenup, Co., KY,; three sisters, Ida Webb and Eva Howard of Greenup Co., KY. and Ella Hicks of Marysville, OH.; 13 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by daughter, Janet Burton, two grandsons Michael Beard and Guerin Kaulitz, one great-granddaughter, Gabrielle Blevins, three brothers, James, Orville, and Delbert Joe Clark Burton, and two sisters, Annie Harr and Bernice Conkle. Services will be held at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. Thursday July 25, 2002 at 11:00 AM with the Rev. Ed Ellis officiating. Burial will be in Miami Memorial Garden in Covington, OH. Friends may call on the family Wednesday July 24, 2002 from 5 to 8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami Co.
