Willard T. "Tom" McCoy, age 48, of Troy passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 11, 2019 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH.  Tom was born on June 14, 1971 in Troy, OH to Barbara (Bostic) McCoy McFarland of Ludlow Falls, OH and the late William E. McCoy Sr.

In addition to his mother, Tom is survived by his wife of 14 years: Kristina M. (Kiser) McCoy; son: Thomas E. McCoy of Troy; brother: William E. (Tammy Chandler) McCoy of Piqua; several adopted brothers including: Michael Sowers of Troy and Mike Barnes of Troy; father-in-law and mother-in-law: Gary and Jane Kiser of Troy and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, Tom was preceded in death by his half brothers: Gary McCoy and William E. McCoy Jr.

Tom attended Troy City Schools.  He loved his trucks, playing video games, fishing, wolves and especially time with his son.  He enjoyed being a truck driver for 30 years.

Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2019 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 10:00AM-12:00PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
