Wilfred C. Tremblay, 82, died at Upper Medical Center, Troy, Ohio on Tuesday, December 9, 2003. Mr. Tremblay is survived by sons and daughters-in-law: Armand W. and Jackie Tremblay of Vandalia, OH; Douglas W. and Wanda Tremblay of Troy, OH and Gary A. and Mindy Tremblay of San Diego, CA; twin brother: Armand Tremblay of Bedford, TX; seven grandchildren, Martha Tremblay-Cohen, Matthew, David, Nathan, Craig, Alexa and Kara Tremblay; great granddaughter: Emily Watson. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph Ulysse and Rose Alma Guichard Tremblay; in 2002 by his wife Kathrine Myers Tremblay; two sisters, Irene Mitchell and Lucienne Abshire and two brothers, Albert and Raymond Tremblay. Mr. Tremblay was an active volunteer in all of his memberships which included: Member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, OH; Knights of St. Johns; Troy Kiwanis Club; Troy Elks Lodge #833; WWII US Navy Veteran; coached youth CYO basketball and volleyball for over 25 years, coached youth baseball here in Troy. He was a 1939 graduate of Troy High School and retired from Troy Sunshade Company and Hobart Corporation. Visitation will be from 5-8PM Friday, December 12, 2003 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio with a mass at 9:00AM Saturday, December 13, 2003 at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio with a VFW Honor Guard at graveside. Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Asssociation, The Laurelwood, 3797 Summit Glen Dr. STE 200, Dayton, Ohio; St. Patrick Catholic Church, 409 E. Main St., Troy, OH 45373; or Troy Foundation, 910 W. Main Street, Troy, OH 45373.
