Wilbur A. Rowe, Jr., passed out of this life on Tuesday, April 6, 2004 at his residence at 9:10PM. He was born in Dayton, Ohio on July 20, 1936 to the late Wilbur A. & Lauretta Sieverding Rowe, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Geraldine R. Hilgeford Rowe, and his four children. Daughters and Sons-in-law: Leslye & Brent Barringer of Troy, Ohio; Linda & Bill Kunz of Coconut Grove, Florida; Lisa & Jerry Brooks of Elizabeth Twp., Ohio; and Lorrie & Gary Parker of Montgomery, Texas. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Jason Chiles of Chicago, ILL.; Lucy & Travis Welbaum of Troy, Ohio; Cheyenne & Lakota Parker of Montgomery, Texas and Tim Kunz of Boise, Idaho. One great grandson, Nilamani Dasha Kunz of Boise, Idaho. He was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy, Ohio; Troy Rotary, with perfect attendance for 13 years, was a 4-H Advisor; was the Treasurer of the Elizabeth Township Historical Society; Sheriff's Mounted Patrol; National Horse Show Announcer; and Society of Sales Executives. He graduated from Chaminade High School in Dayton, Ohio; attended Dayton University; and was a graduate of General Motors Institute with a Degree in Business Engineering. He was Owner-Operator of Wilbur's Chevy Store in Troy, which was awarded the Service Supremacy Award. He was in the Automotive Industry for over 49 years, with the last 12 years working with Monte Zinn Chevrolet and Jeff Wyler Chevrolet in Springfield, Ohio. Fr. John MacQuarrie will be officiating the service at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Troy. Burial will be in Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
