WAYNE ALLEN HARRIS

Wayne Allen Harris, age 64, of Tipp City, Ohio passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at his residence.  He was born on August 3, 1949 in Troy, Ohio to the late Floyd Harris and Mildred (Baker) Harris of Troy, Ohio.  He married Brenda L. (Hurley) Harris and she survives.

In addition to his wife and his mother, Wayne is survived by his two sons and daughter-in-law, Brad and Kelci Harris of Troy and Justin Harris of Troy; sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Gary Webb of Troy and brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Sharon Harris of Sidney.

Wayne was a graduate of Newton High School and Edison State College where he received an Associate of Science Degree in Manufacturing, graduating with honors.  Wayne served in the U.S. Army National Guard.  He was currently employed with the Twin Valley Behavioral Health Center in Columbus.  He enjoyed history and his Harley.

Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, May 19, 2014 at the Baird Funeral Home , Troy, Ohio with the Pastor Tom Friend officiating.  Interment will follow in the Riverside Cemetery in Troy.  The family will receive friends from 5 – 8 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
