WAYLAND PARTIN

Wayland Partin, age 78, of Troy, Ohio passed away on Sunday, February 23, 2014 at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy where he had been a patient.  Wayland was born on October 25, 1935 in Pearl, KY to the late George and Edna (Dixon) Partin.

He is survived by his sons, Gary Partin and wife of FL, Wayland Benny Partin and wife of CA, Rick Partin and wife of GA, Keith Partin of Troy and Steve Wesco of Troy; brothers and spouse, Sterling Partin of Florida and Wade Partin of Sidney; sister: Dalphine Bayliss of Sidney; and several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter: Terri Freeman Wesco; a brother: Arnold Partin, sister: Lorene Partin, and two nephews: Jerry King and Tony Partin.

Wayland was a member of the Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Troy Fish and Game.  He was retired Dinner Bell in Troy.  Wayland enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.  He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.

Services will be held 1:00 PM on Thursday, February 27, 2014 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Interment will follow in Shelby Memory Gardens, Sidney.  The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
