Warren J. Whitmore, 75, died at his residence on Wednesday, December 4, 2002. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty E. Owen Whitmore; sons: Cecil Teague and Daniel Whitmore; daughters: Nikita and Yvonne; Karen Hosko;stepchildren, Bonnie Hupp, Victoria Mapes, Teri Montgomery and Steve Kendall;a brother, Dale Whitmore and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchldren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Lester Whitmore; stepsons, Thomas Kendall and Mike Kendall. Mr. Whitmore served in the US Army Air Corp during WWII. He retired from General Motors Co./Inland Division, Vandalia and later retired from SCOPE - with meal deliveries and operating meal sites. Visitation will be from 12-1:00pm Saturday, December 7, 2002 with a time of sharing by family and friends at 1:00pm Saturday, December 7, 2002 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, Ohio. Interment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park, Springfield, Ohio. Contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association or Hospice of Miami County.
