Warren E. Kindig Warren E. Kindig, age 77, of Troy, Ohio, went to be with our Lord at 5:40PM on Monday, June 7, 2010 at his residence. He was born on August 31, 1932 in LaPorte, Indiana to the late Emery and Alta Arndt Kindig. Survivors include his wife of almost 52 years, Judith Keen Kindig; five daughters and sons-in-law: Marie and Dennis Jay of Troy; Julie and Greg Baxter of South Bend, Indiana; Amy and Tom Malicoat of Frankfort, Indiana; Kelly and Sean Foster of New Carlisle, Ohio; and Jill and Rick Shaw of North Hampton, Ohio; twelve grandchildren: Austin, Jennifer and Kimberly Jay; Michael Aleigha, Dayna and Tara Baxter; Nicole, Renee, and Kyle Malicoat; Jamie fiancé, Matt and Kacie Foster; and Jacob and Matthew Shaw; three great-grandchildren: Ethan Gephart and Chloe and Abbie Baxter; and nine brothers and sisters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters and one brother. Warren was a US Army Korean War veteran and a member of the American Legion in Michigan City, Indiana and Troy, Ohio. He was a softball player for more than 30 years and in 1984, he moved to Ohio. Warren worked for LaPorte Foundry for 28 years and was a molder for O.S. Kelley for three years. He also worked at Wal-Mart as a cart pusher for four years. Warren cherished his wife, his children, his grandchildren and his great-grandchildren and he will live forever in their hearts. Services will be held at 7:00PM on Friday, June 11, 2010 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Friends may call from 4-7PM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Casstown Cemetery, Casstown, Ohio.
