Warren J. Whitmore, 75, of Troy died at his residence on Wednesday, December 4, 2002. He is preceeded in death by his parents, Warren D. and Golden Ethel Stottlemeir Whitmore. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Betty E. Owen Whitmore. He was born July 5, 1927 in Pike County, Ohio. He is also survived by Sons;Cecil Teague and Daniel Whitmore both of Dayton, Ohio. Daughters;Nikita and Yvonne Karen Hosko of Yuma, Arizonia. Also are step-children; Bonnie Hupp of Springfield; Victoria Mapes of Troy, Ohio; Teri Montgomery of Tonawanda, N. Y.; and Steve Kendall of Lakeview. Surviving brother Dale Whitmore of Virginia. Preceeded in death by a brother, Lester Whitmore; stepsons; Thomas Kendall and Mike Kendall. Also are numerous grandchildren; great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She served in the US Army Air Corp during WW II. He retired from General Motors Co., Inland Division, in Vandalia, Ohio. He later retired from SCOPE, meal delivery and operating meal site.
