Wanda P. Malmsbury, 73, of Troy, Ohio passed out of this life on Sunday, November 23, 2003 at the Upper Valley Medical Center in Troy, Ohio. She was born to the late Mills & Ruth Turner Hamilton on March 4, 1930 in Champagne County, Ohio. She is preceeded in death by her husband, Marcellus Malmsbury in 1979. Also preceeding her are parents, 2 brothers, Edgar and Paul Hamilton and longtime companion, Richard Brush. She is survived by 1 son, Michael Anthony Malmsbury and fiance, Raven Ferdin of Zanesville, Ohio. Also surviving are are step-daughter and son-in-law; Marcia & Rev. Dr. James T. Grooms of Athens, Ohio; brothers Miles Hamilton of Naples, Fla., Carl Hamilton of Valigo, Ca. and John Hamilton of Dayton, Ohio, sisters, Annabel Osgood of Delrio, Texas and Hazel Gerrish of Hickory, NC. Two grandson, Michael II and Jordan Malmsbury of Canton, Ohio. Step-Granddaughter; Sherri Smith of Athens, Ohio; two step great-grandchildren; Alexis and Nicholas Smith of Athens, Ohio, and he adopted grandchildren, Dallas, Havannah and Carmella of Zanesville, Ohio. She was a member of Living Word Fellowship. She formerly work at Dettmer Hospital in Troy,Ohio and St. Elizabeth and Good Samaritan hospitals in Dayton, Ohio as a Nurse's Aid. The funeral service will be officiated by Rev. Dr. James T. Grooms and eulogy by Rev. Phyllis Welbaum.
