Vivian Eileen (Brown) Chaney, age 93, formerly of Troy, OH and more recently of Greenville, passed away on February 7, 2022 at Koester Pavilion.  She was born on June 17, 1928 in Celina, OH to the late Cleon L. and Lucille I. (Kaiser) Brown.

She is survived by her children: Terry (Gail) Chaney of Troy and Kim (Gary) Kirby of Greenville; daughter-in-law: Sharon Chaney of Troy; brother: Tom Brown of Oakridge, TN; ten grandchildren: Heath, Deany, Rick, Randy, Shane, Crystal, Jeff, Zeb, Nicki and Ashley; twenty seven great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years: Jack D. Chaney; son: Douglas Wayne Chaney; sister: Madonna Scott; and brother Donald Brown.

Vivian was a 1946 graduate of Troy High School.  She was a longtime member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church in Greenville.  She was employed with JC Penny in Troy for several years and then with Chaney's Nursery until her retirement.

Services will be held at 1PM on Friday, February 11, 2022 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy with interment to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy.  The family will receive friends from 11-1PM on Friday at the funeral home.
