Virginia Irene Studebaker Virginia Irene Studebaker, age 91, of Piqua, Ohio, passed away at 6:00PM on Sunday, November 4, 2012 at Mayfair Village Retirement in Columbus, Ohio. She was born on August 23, 1921 in Piqua, to the late Grover and Helen Irene Webster Pittman. She married Virgil Studebaker on September 22, 1939, and he preceded her in death. She is survived by her three daughters and sons-in-law: Penny and William Barker of Tipp City, Ohio, Janice Sue and Lynn Dillow of Troy, Ohio, and Betty Joanne and Carl Stewart of Ithaca, Ohio; son and daughter-in-law: Charles Eugene and Diane Studebaker of Columbus, Ohio; ten grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Studebaker was preceded in death by one son, Virgil Lawrence "Larry" Studebaker, Jr.; three sisters; and three brothers. She was a member of Troy Baptist Temple, Troy, Ohio and she enjoyed bead craftwork. She was employed by Tipp City Schools, Tipp City, Ohio. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, with Pastor David Mulvaine officiating. Interment will be in Miami Memorial Park, Covington, Ohio.
