Obituary

Virginia Snapp Virginia "Molly" Monnin Snapp, 83, of Tipp City, OH, died at 2:55AM Wednesday, August 08, 2007, at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy, OH. She was born March 8, 1924, to the late Stephen and Clara Marshall Monnin. Her survivors include her loving husband of 33 years, Ray Snapp and her sister-in-law, Mary Segar. She is also survived by many nephews, nieces and friends. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Snapp was preceded in death by her brothers: Cletus Phyllis Monnin, Robert Helen Monnin, Vernon Margaret Monnin, and Francis Monnin; sisters: Eleanora Bernard Goubeaux, Ruth Joe Stang and Sr. Rosie Monnin. She was a member of the Ohio Retired Teachers Assoc., Miami Co. Retired Teachers, Troy Senior Citizens, a life member of the VFW Aux. 5436 and a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy. She also helped her husband put together a navy reunion for the Pensacola for many years. Mrs. Snapp was a retired school teacher. Although she had no children of her own, she thought of all her students as her children. Services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, August 11, 2007, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, with the Rev. Fr. James Duell officiating. Friends may call from 10-11AM Saturday at the church.
