VIRGINIA K. GROSS

Virginia K. Gross, age 92 of Casstown Ohio, passed away Friday February 27, 2015 at her residence. She was born June 10, 1922 in Troy, Ohio to the late Albert K. and Mary (Babb) Knoop. She later married Arthur M. Gross and he preceded her in death in 1995. In addition to her parents and her husband Virginia was preceded in death by a brother Fred Knoop.

Virginia is survived by a son and daughter-in-law Albert and Judy Gross of Casstown, daughters and son-in-law Mary Ann Gross of Casstown and Martha and Bob Patterson of Fayetteville, Georgia; grandchildren: Douglas and Carla Gross of Pleasant Hill, Anthony and Lori Gross of Conover, Matthew and Amanda Gross of Casstown, Brian Gross of Fletcher, Christie and Ken Nichols of Atlanta Georgia, Caroline and Joshua Cody of Austin Texas and Robby Patterson of Fayetteville, Georgia; eleven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

She was a graduate of Lost Creek High School and attended Zion Lutheran Church in Tipp City. She had worked at the Miami County Public Library and Vorpe Opticians of Troy.

Services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at 7:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home in Troy. Friends may call on the family from 4 to 7 PM at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the Donor's favorite charity.
