Virginia Bushong is survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Doren and Beaulah Roether Hwoard, and her husband, Ray R. Bushong.

She was the retired owner/operator of Bushong Auto Service in Troy.  She was a member of the Afternoon Garden Club; Altursa Club , and the First United Methodist Church of Troy.
