Virgil G. Green, age 68 of Troy died April 12 at his residence. He was born of the late, Perry and Mary Siberts Green and was the loving husband of Mary L. Jackman of 46 years; devoted father of Steven and Lori; Denny and Susan; Kelly and Tom; brother of Ivy Evans and Shirley Purdin and loving grandfather of Steve, Timmy and Megan, Shane and Michelle, Jennifer, Ashley, Journie and Jade and two great-grandchildren, Cody and Brennen. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Ruth Jackman and other family members. He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Bryce, Harold and Arnold and one sister, Elsie. Virgil was a US Army veteran and retired from Tube Products Company.
