Virgil Gray Virgil Gray, 65, of Troy, Ohio died unexpectedly Saturday May 31, 2008 at 1:52 AM at the Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born August 22, 1942 in Big Creek, KY to the late Jordan and Dora Sizemore Gray. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Paralee Gray; son and daughter-in-law, Virgil E. Gray Jr. and Teresa of Hillsboro, KY; brothers: Henderson Gray of Flat Creek, KY, J.D. Gray of Flat Creek KY, Roy Lee Gray of Union City, OH, Gerald Gray of Troy and Willard Gray of Mechanicsville, VA; sisters: Florence Harless of Winchester, IN, Nora Mae Leavers of Union City, IN; grandchildren: Crystal, Chelsea, Jennifer, Jessie, Hannah and Lily; and one great-grandson, Wyatt. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by: two brothers Don and Blackburn Gray, and one sister, Nancy Wagers. He was a member of UAW #128. He retired in 1999 as an Electrical worker with AO Smith of Tipp City after 30 years of service. Funeral services will be held Wednesday June 4, 2008 at 1:00 PM at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy. Burial will follow at Forest Hills Memorial Gardens – Vandalia, OH. Friends may call on the family Tuesday June 3, 2008 from 5-8PM at the funeral home.
