Viola Elizabeth Davidson, 92, died at Koester Pavilion, Troy, Ohio on Monday, October 27, 2003. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Donald H. Davidson; stepson and wife, John and Mary Davidson of Marion, Ohio; Stepdaughter: Rosalee Browitt of Sun City, AZ; Daughter-in-law: Lois Lykes of Tipp City, Ohio; sisters and brothers-in-law, Dorothy and Don Davis of Troy; Evelyn and Sam Scott of Troy; brother and Wife: Richard and Virginia Tecklenburg of N. Carolina; three grandchildren, seven great grandchildren;; six step grandchildren and 10 step great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary Victoria Mougey Tecklenburg; her first husband, Earl Lykes; two sons, John and William Lykes; granddaughter, Elizabeth Lykes; two sisters, Helen Huffman and Ruth Ewart and two brothers, Robert and Martin Tecklenburg. Mrs. Davidson was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio. She was formerly employed at Gummed Products and Brown Bridge Mills. Visitation will be from 4:30 - 6:30PM at Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH. A mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Troy, Ohio at 10:00AM Thursday, October 30, 2003. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, Ohio. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Patrick Catholic Church of Hospice of Miami County.
