Vicky Jo Sampson, age 75, of Troy, OH went home to be with Jesus on September 13, 2024.  She was born on April 20, 1949 in Troy to the late Richard and Janet (Clawson) Pogue.

Vicky is survived by her children: Ricky Sampson of Fletcher; Richard (Danaie) Sampson of Apache Junction, AZ and Tamela "Tammy" (Scott) Boyer of Troy; grandchildren: Brandon Sampson, Justin Sampson, Nicole (Chris) Caplinger, Dustin(Jessica) Boyer, Aaron Sampson, Sara Stephen and Donavan Sampson and numerous great grandchildren. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by a son Darrel Sampson, brother Tim Pogue Sr. and a great granddaughter Hailey Sampson.

Vicky enjoyed watching TV, sewing things for her family and going to Waffle House in Troy. She also enjoyed family gatherings, reading, and puzzle books.  She was a great mom, grandma and great grandma. May you rest in peace. Love you mom.

Services will take place at 1:00PM on Thursday September 19, 2024 at Baird Funeral Home, Troy.  Burial will follow in Miami Memorial Park in Covington.  The family will receive friends from 11:00AM to 1:00PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
