Vicki Joann Montgomery, born December 13, 1946, was the daughter of Donald and Betty (Pollitt) Burger. She was born in Springfield, Ohio and resided in Piqua, Ohio. She is survived by her husband; Edward B. Montgomery (married 55 years), son; Edward D. Montgomery (Julie, Austin, Morgan) and daughter; Meg E. Montgomery. She also has a niece; Emily S. Whetstone (Phillip, Grace, Molly). She is preceded in death by her sister; Penny A. Crist and niece; Amanda E. Homan. Vicki worked for over thirty years as the secretary at the First Presbyterian Church of Troy, Ohio before retiring. She enjoyed spending time at football and lacrosse games watching her grandsons play and taking trips to New York City. She loved all animals; especially her cats. Her death was on May 4, 2024 at The James Cancer Hospital (OSU) in Columbus, Ohio where she courageously fought her battle with leukemia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the First Presbyterian Church, Troy, Ohio, on June 6, 2024. Visitation will be from 10:00am-11:30am followed by a service. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the PAWS Animal Shelter of Urbana, Ohio (https://pawsurbana.com) or any animal shelter of choice.
