Verla L. Pautsch, age 98, of Troy, OH passed away on Saturday, January 5, 2019 at her residence.  She was born on April 11, 1920 in Greenview, IL to the late Harry Henry and Eda Anna (Hildebrand) Wohler.

Verla is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law:  Linda Cleveland of Springboro, OH, Debbie and Carlos Hernandez of Dallas, TX and Jillayne and Jim Kirk of Scottsdale, AZ; six grandchildren: Josie Breving, Michael Cleveland, Stefan Cleveland, Alicia Hernandez Mehta, Monica Hernandez Lovelace and Cecilia Hernandez and seven great grandchildren: Morgan Breving, Sutton Breving, Ethan Breving, Harper Breving, Lane Cleveland, Scout Cleveland and Olivia Mehta.

In addition to her parents, Verla was preceded in death by her husband: Harold William Pautsch.

Verla and her husband owned and operated Industry Products in Piqua since its inception in 1966.  Verla enjoyed gardening and reading.

Services will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, January 10, 2019 at the Baird Funeral Home, Troy, OH.  Interment will follow in Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00PM – 8:00PM on Wednesday.  Memorial contributions may be made to Historic Marbold Farmstead, 21722 St Highway 29, Greenview, IL 62642; Brukner Nature Center, 5995 Horseshoe Bend Road, Troy, OH 45373 or Troy Hayner Cultural Center, 301 West Main Street, Troy, OH 45373.
