Vera E. Putnam, age 90, of Troy, Ohio died Sunday, September 3, 2006 in Troy. She was survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Donald and Carolyn, Jerry and Marcia, and Douglas Putnam, grandchildren, Kimberly Bair, Megan Wiley, Amanda Putnam, and Emily Putnam, great-grandchildren, Grant, Brooke, and Courtney Bair, and Nolan Wiley. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Irwin A. "Bud" Putnam. A member of the First Lutheran Church, Troy, she was a 1938 graduate of Wittenberg University. She retired from the Troy City Schools as an educator with Concord and Kyle Elementary Schools. Graveside services will be held 10am Wednesday, September 6, 2006 at the Riverside Cemetery, Troy, OH.
